05.11.18 Two starlings still nest building. They are always together; flying, singing, perching, watching their nest. Two mourning doves. Their coo-ing sound caught my attention. This is the first time I have seen mourning doves in the back yard. Very nice. One very loud Blue Jay!

No booth pics, but since everybody else seems to be fond of the Cedar Waxwings too, I thought I’d share the bounty from today. The flock of about 20 is still around and feasts on anything berry in the area. They are so cool to watch!

There was yard work going on today, so here is just a little action shot. I hope you all had a good day. Waffles has not laid an egg yet, but I think it is going to happen this weekend.

There was also a flock of about 20 Cedar Waxwings in the yard today. They were all over the place and I could hear them all day. I put out the raisins as soon as I heard them, but this is the only pic that I think I might have gotten. All of a sudden, they rained down and went straight for the service berry and the dogwood.
